CONCEPTION COMPLETED.

I would lose my mind for the sake of my soul,
But not the reverse,
And walk on bare feet once my shoes have worn through,
And not feel the earth;
Allow my home to be claimed by this building society,
When my credit fails,
And sit on my fence once they’ve taken my seat,
And not be impaled.

I would loosen my tie before I tighten my belt,
But not the reverse,
And walk out of the occupied hours of work,
And better my worth;
Allow every position to be afforded its due,
When my welfare bails,
And refuse any endowment that crosses my path,
And not be derailed.

I would at last do nothing than do something allured,
But not the reverse,
And welcome the storm that my journey has summoned,
And forgo a berth;
Allow idle thoughts freedom outside of my head,
When I set my sail,
And lay down on your floor when I find my way back,
And tell you my tale:

I have lost my mind but I have gained the whole world,
And it can’t be reversed,
And started to wear nothing but dirt on my feet,
And I’ve nurtured the earth;
Allowed the expanse of the sky to re-house me,
And debt I’ve curtailed,
And sat on both sides of the hole in the ground
And I have prevailed.
