And biology
Moving our machine
We should be shaping great things,
But our lives socially
And emotionally
Are the worst they’ve ever been,
And instead we’re clipping fate’s wings .

With discoveries in science,
And their alliance,
Far greater than before,
We should be making heaven here,
But our obsession
With creation
Has opened other doors,
And it’s hell we see appear.

With empirical conclusions,
And their solutions,
As sure as their appliance,
We should be building bridges,
But theoretical abstraction,
And its attraction,
Is resisting in defiance,
And that’s why we’re digging ditches.
